My favorite outdoor beer garden is closed still… I don’t know why, it’s April in Poland. But do not distress… I found this great little bar/cafe called Singer Cafe just off of Plac Nowy (https://www.facebook.com/Singer-270192511788/). It’s the old Singer factory which explains the tables. It is currently filled with a couple of French photographers editing their latest fashion shoot while enjoying a couple of beers, another two on laptops, and myself. Thick dark rugs cover a wooden floor and candles provide lighting on the tables. Jazz is playing in the background. I think I’ve stumbled onto a wonderful writing spot. I’ll tell you the name of my beer only because I don’t have to pronounce it… I tried and failed spectacularly. But I can’t mess up typing it. Ksiazece, which is a very fine dark beer if you’re ever over in this neck of the woods.
